Join Wolf Park staff, accompanied by wildlife artist Jan Martin McGuire, for a close-up look at everyone's favorite painting subject -- the wolf!
Friday, March 7 through Sunday, March 9, 2008!
Workshop participants will get reference for wolf behavior and anatomy, focusing on what artists need to know -- and will also receive group instruction and review from professional wildlife artist Jan Martin McGuire, who will be demonstrating painting and sketching techniques and providing guidance throughout. Includes a one-year single membership to Wolf Park.
Need reference photos? Ample photography/sketching time and hands-on experience with our socialized animals is included. Participants will see a wolf/bison demonstration up close and view hunting behavior; accompany a wolf on a supervised pasture outing and see how a wandering wolf would interact with its environment; and meet and photograph our red foxes. This is an ABSOLUTELY UNEQUALED photography opportunity for those who paint from reference!
Please bring slides, photographs or samples of your artwork if you can, to share with the other participants!

Participants must be over 18 years of age in order to enter the enclosure with the wolves.
Refund policy:
Non-refundable payment in full is required to hold a spot in this seminar. If you cancel between 6 and 2 months prior to the seminar you will receive a full refund. If you cancel between 2 and 1 months prior to the seminar you will receive a half refund. Cancellations made within 1 month prior to the seminar will not receive any refund. Monies paid will be considered a tax-deductible donation to Wolf Park. Monies paid are not transferable to other seminars.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Wolf Park reserves the right to cancel a seminar if there are fewer than 5 participants registered as of 30 days before the start of the seminar. In the case of cancellation, we will refund registration fees in full, or the participant can choose to transfer into a different seminar. |
