Why
walk for wolves?
Wolves
and other endangered species are more at risk than
ever with our growing human population, and declining wild lands. Wolf Park works to educate the public about
conservation, the role of predators, and why wolves and other wildlife
are
amazing creatures with whom we want to share the planet!
We
need your help to continue doing our work, and reaching
the largest audience possible with our conservation message. Our wolves are here to represent the handful
of wild cousins living up in the northern forests of the Midwest, and
in the
Rocky Mountains. With your support, we
can help make the United States a better place for wolves and other
wildlife!
Show your support — Walk
for Wolves !! All funds
raised will support Wolf Park’s efforts on behalf of wolves and
wildlife. If you are successful in raising
enough
funds, we will donate a portion to our conservation partners in the
Yellowstone
Wolf Project and Isle Royale Wolf Project.
It
feels good to do good!
Walk with one of our wolves — the first lap
around the Park includes a wolf (leashed) guided by experienced staff
members. Walkers will follow at a
polite distance.
Receive special gifts — all walkers earn a
“Wolf Walk” t shirt and decal, goodies provided by our sponsors, free
water
while walking, and at least one chance to ‘Spin and Win’ on our prize
wheel. Individuals who raise $100
receive a “Wolf Walk” bandana, raise $300 for a bandana and a “Wolf
Walk”
travel mug, and raise $500 receive a bandana, a travel mug plus a 2010
Wolf
Park Calendar!! (virtual participants do not receive the same
incentives that walkers do. For more info go to www.wolfpark.org.)
Support a good organization — All funds
raised will support Wolf Park’s efforts on behalf of wolves and
wildlife. If you are successful in raising

Most Funds raised by a Walker and by a Pack, Most Laps Walked by a

walker is guaranteed to go home with something!
