Why was a shipping charge added to my purchase?

We are sorry, but we have not yet figured out a way to make the computer charge shipping on only some items.  To eliminate some confusion, the store no longer automatically adds a shipping fee. Before processing orders on item purchases, (such as stuffed animals, books and t-shirts) we add a $7 shipping fee to cover tax and postage BEFORE the card is charged. Your credit card may show two charges until the original hold has expired.

Please contact us if the original charge fails to expire after a week. We will double-check that we did not charge you twice.
